Curriculum Vitae
From October 1995 until October 1998 I did my undergraduate studies in computer science at the University of Hildesheim
with appliance in medical informatics. After changing to the University of Bremen in Oktober 1998 I attended the four semester
student project Roses - Rollstuhl als sicheres eingebettetes System
according to the project oriented main study period in Bremen. In July 2002 I finished my diploma thesis
Trajektorienplanung und Trajektorienfolgeregelung im Konfigurationsraum nicht-holonomer Fahrzeuge.
Starting in August 2002, I worked as a research assistant in the working group
Programmiersprachen, Übersetzerbau und formale Methoden der Software-Techniken of Prof. Dr. Bernd Krieg-Brückner, being employed from
January 2003 till December 2006 in the project A1-[RoboMap] of the
SFB/TR8 - Spatial Cognition. After a one year doctoral scholarship from the
German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), I received the Ph.D. degree in January 2008
from University of Bremen for my thesis Navigation of the Smart Wheelchair Rolland. Since June 2008
I work at DFKI in the research area Safe and Secure Cognitive Systems on the
