Formation of the Groups of Computer Architecture and Reliable Embedded Systems
Since October 2001 Prof. Dr. Rolf Drechsler is the head of the Group of Computer Architecture. Prof. Dr. Görschwin Fey leads the Group of Reliable Embedded Systems since March 2012. In the meantime the groups have more than 30 members working as a large team comprising researchers and administrative staff.
Beside the lectures for graduate and undergraduate students, we run student team projects to enforce research oriented learning. In research the groups are successful in Computer Aided Design (CAD) of circuits and systems covering synthesis, verification, test and reliability.
