INHALT & PFAD:

Collegiate project
Start of project 01.10.2005
Rescue Robotics
The project is meant for students who would like to expand their knowledge of robot-systems development and take part in an exciting international RoboCup Rescue competition. The main focus is on the further development of multiple-legged biologically inspired walking robots, which were successfully brought into play at the German Open 2005 by the "Bremen Rescue Walkers" RoboCup Team. The purpose of the
"Rescue Robotics" project is to further develop the existing prototype in the area of Rescue Robotics. Another part of the project is the development of an autonomous flying system to support the orientation of the walking robots in devastated environments.
