UNMODERATED until 7 October.  This is to ensure prompt forwarding of
your comments on the latest (last?) draft version of the tentative
language design summary during my absence from Aarhus.

Kindly make all messages sent to cofi-language as concise as possible,
putting a summary at the top of any longer ones.
