Dear Hetters,

we proudly present a new hets release 0.7 available from

Features of release 0.7:

- parsing and static analysis of CASL, CASL extensions, and other logics
- a (new) variety of logic translations
- connection to the theorem provers Isabelle, SPASS, Vampire and
   to the webservice prover MathServe
- use of induction in connection with automated first-order provers
- OMDoc import and export
- some sample specifications about metric spaces and spatial
   calculi in HasCASL
- a new and easy-to-use Java-based installer

Dear Hetters

we are proud to announce the first release canditate (RC1) of a
graphical installer for Hets. It is available on the website

http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/agbkb/forschung/formal_methods/CoFI/hets/installation_e.htm

for Linux-x86
    MacOSX-ppc
    Solaric-Sparc

you need Sun Java 1.4.2 or newer. Other java distributions may work but
are not tested. This is not yet the final version of the installer, but
it works under normal conditions. You might and will encounter bugs
under certain circumstances, please report them to
