ALF - A Framework for Building PSEE
/Derniame, 1998/
ALF has its roots in ER sata nmodelling, active databases, and logic programming.
ALF exploits the MASP (Model for Assisted Software Process) model for describing generic templates and instantiating them into concrete models. A MASP consists of an ERA (Extended Entity-Relationship Attribute) object model, an operator model, a rule model, constraints, and invariants.
This tool employs a Rule Based Approach
