    2 Brief Characteristics

This service unit defines the requirements for tools used to generate the declarations in the corresponding target language from the specifications of user interfaces (masks, lists).

    3 Requirements

    3.1 Requirements for Interfaces

SSD14.I.1 Granularity The exchange of control parameters with SWFM01 - Workflow Management is possible for individual closed function packages of the tool by means of a disclosed, documented interface.
SSD14.I.2 Input interface to SSD02 - Supporting Specification of User Interfaces It is possible to integrate directly specifications for interfaces generated with SSD02 without further transformation from the object management to generate physical schema specifications.
SSD14.I.3 Output interface to SSD15 - Compiling It is possible to transmit physical schema specifications for interfaces without further transformation via the object management to SSD15 in order to be compiled.
SSD14.I.4 Output interface to SSD20 - Transforming Code Backwards It is possible to transmit generated physical schema specifications for interfaces without further transformation via the object management to SSD20 in order to be converted in specifications.

3.2 Requirements for the Methods Support

    none

    3.3 Requirements for Functions

SSD14.F.1 Mask structures It is possible to generate the corresponding mask structures for masks in a TP target system from specifications of user interfaces.
SSD14.F.2 List structures It is possible to generate the corresponding list structures for lists in a target system from specifications of user interfaces.
    SSD14.F.3 Generation options
    SSD14.F.3.1 Selection
SSD14.F.3.1.1 Analysis It is possible to analyze the generation information with regard to possible error situations without having to realize the generation.
SSD14.F.3.1.2 Definite generation It is possible to realize the generation without taking possible error situations into consideration.
SSD14.F.3.2 Display It is possible to display the generation options.
SSD14.F.3.3 Default settings It is possible to adopt default values for the generation without manual intervention.
SSD14.F.4 Result The result of the generation is complete.
This means that the generation result can be utilized without manual additions from the target system.

    3.4 Other Requirements

SSD14.O.1 Upward compatibility It must be possible to process objects generated with an older release of the tool with the later release of that tool, without loss of information and functionality.
SSD14.O.2 Procedural command language The tool has a procedural command language that can be applied by the user to generate and run macros or procedures.
SSD14.O.3 Complexity There is no limitation of the complexity caused by the tool itself.
