Moduli spaces and the Littlewood-Richardson cone


Abstract [ps] [pdf]: The Littlewood-Richardson cone, studied by Berenstein-Zelevinsky and Knut\-son-Tao, gives a convex-geometric description of weight multiplicities in the decomposition of tensor products of representations of $\mathrm{GL}_{n}$. We describe a connection between this cone and certain moduli spaces due to Alexeev.
