Research Interests

I am mainly interested in the research topic ontology. In particular, I am working on linguistic and spatial ontologies. This work is related to the field of spatial language and formal models of space. Here, I work on solutions for interpreting natural language with respect to abstract representations of space in spatial systems.

I am also interested in combining ontologies with different kinds of uncertainties and related reasoning techniques. The meaning provided by these uncertainties and whether they make sense in an ontological representation is one of my major interests.
