Photos of Turkey: Cappadocia

This is a collection of photos taken in fall 2005 in Cappadocia (“Kapadokya”) the region in Central Anatolia between Ankara in the north and Konya in the south. Most of the photos were taken in the central area of Cappadocia around the towns of Ürgüp and Göreme and in the Ihlara Valley. Select the thumbnails for larger resolution versions of the images.
