This is a collection of pictures taken in March 2007 in
Chongqing, a large city located at the confluence of the
Yangtze River and the Jialing River.
Chongqing is a typical, rapidly growing Chinese "megacity" with enormous
environmental problems, such as dense smog most of the
year and terrible traffic problems.
We didn't see any other Western tourists in Chongqing except
at the docks on the Yangtze River, where we embarked the
Victoria Cruises "Queen".
