Photos of China: Yangtze River and Three Gorges Dam

This is a set of images taken in April 2007 during a three-day cruise on the Yangtze River with Victoria Cruises. We embarked the Victoria "Queen" in Chongqing, and the cruise ended at the Three Gorges Dam near Yichang, as cruise ships could not pass the dam before completion of the ship locks in 2008 or 2009. The cruise included excursions to Fengdu, the "City of Ghosts" (not to be confused with the former city of Fengdu, which has been completely submerged and rebuilt at another location since the construction of the dam), and to the Shennong River.
