Workgroups of LiVE!

The goals of the project LiVE! is being realised in workgroups, each itīs own set of achievements. Those tasks were chosen during a brainstorming at the beginning of the project and was also inspired by people not belonging to LiVE!. Following workgroups have been build:

Access Control Lists (ACL) for ext2

This group does several jobs around the Ext2-Filesystem; existing code is being verified and new features are being implemented, like ACLs.

Fault Tolerant Systems (FTS)

The FTS-workgroup deals with the realisation of fault tolerant mailserver, using Linux. Itīs main achivements are software and hardware security, aswell as development of some needed tools, of course being verified.

IPC-Package

This workgroup works on the verifikation of the Linux-IPC-Package (Message Queues, Semaphores, Shared Memory) against System V.

Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP)

Verifikation and implementation of existing and self-developed parts of the SMP modules used in the Linux kernel.
