CoFI: The Common Frameowrk Initiative - Mailing Lists

The following message is intended for all subscribers to the
mailing-lists of the Common Framework Initiative.

The names of the `unif' mailing lists have been changed to have the
prefix `cofi', and unabbreviated suffixes! The new names are:

  cofi-list (unif-task):
	 Coordination.
	 Moderator: Peter D. Mosses.
  cofi-language (unif-lang):
	 Language design.
	 Moderator: Bernd Krieg-Brückner.
  cofi-semantics (unif-sema):
	 Semantics.
	 Moderator: Don Sannella.
  cofi-tools (unif-tool):
	 Tools.
	 Moderator: Michel Bidoit.
  cofi-methodology (unif-meth):
	 Methodology.
	 Moderator: Andrzej Tarlecki.
  cofi-reactive (unif-react):
	 Reactive systems and states.
	 Moderator: Egidio Astesiano.

There are a couple of more specialized lists:

  cofi-higher-order (unif-high):
	 Higher-order issues in language design.
	 Moderator: Karl Meinke.
The list cofi-language is a subscriber to cofi-higher-order.
  cofi-flexibility (unif-flex):
	 Flexibility and evolution in specification.
	 Moderator: Joseph Goguen.
The list cofi-methodology is a subscriber to cofi-flexibility.

The new names should be used henceforth. (Messages inadvertently sent
to the old lists will be forwarded to the new ones, with a reminder of
the changes.)

It makes no difference whether one uses the site address `brics.dk' or
`daimi.aau.dk' in Internet addresses (e-mail, WWW, FTP).

The archives of the mailing lists have been separated (where necessary
:-) into 1995 and 1996 messages. An HTML-based archives browser should
be installed in the near future, to facilitate browsing of the mail
archives.

Please inform me of any problems arising from the above changes.

N.B. It is believed that each subscriber should only get one copy of
this message (but this is the first time I'm trying it...). If you
receive several copies, this may be because your e-mail address was
registered differently on different lists; see the WWW pages for
details of how to unsubscribe and subscribe, to update an address.
