Turning Round

The video demonstrates the obstacle avoidance while passing a door as well as the behavior "turning round" of the Bremen Autonomous Wheelchair "Rolland". The latter is initiated by a circular joystick movement. Then, the wheelchair analyzes the obstacle situation and selects a direction, in which it performs the manoeuvre.
